New Filing: CAMERON, ROBIN v. FARMINGTON VILLAGE COOPERATIVE

The above referenced housing discrimination complaint, filed with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), was resolved by the execution of a HUD Conciliation Agreement, as provided under 810 (b) of the Fair Housing Act of 1968, as amended [42 U.S.C. 3601 et seq.]. The complaint was filed on May 24, 2017, alleging that Complainant was injured by a discriminatory act of Respondent that discriminated based on race and familial status. The Respondent denied all of the allegations in the complaint and admitted no wrongdoing, but Respondent agreed to settle the claims in the underlying action by entering into this Conciliation Agreement as highlighted earlier. FHCMD staff was instrumental in assisting the Complainant to file this case.
